Hands down…I am the product of two hairy people...my parents. As a result, I have dealt with unwanted facial hair for years! I would describe myself as a "professional plucker". I've tried nearly everything to get rid of unwanted facial hair permanently and nothing worked so I stuck with tweezing and plucking. I finally decided to give IPL (Intensed Pulsed Light) for hair removal a shot since I tried everything else. I figured, “what have I got to lose?" Well, IPL totally rocks! I am a 37 year old female and after years of struggling with excessive hair growth, I found what worked for me. At the age of 15, I started having to wax facial hair, which helped for awhile but after a period of time, the hair growth started increasing again. At the age of about 21 I started medications to control the hair and started electrolysis. After several years of this method I showed some improvement but I couldn't keep up with the growth. I became very frustrated so I once again I tried a new doctor who diagnosed with PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome). I then started using IPL (Intensed Pulsed Light) in conjunction with medications. IPL has worked wonders with controlling the hair growth. It has greatly improved how I see myself and would greatly recommend IPL. Some people complain about the cost but when you get lasting results it is well worth it. I am so thankful to Diane at "All About You" for the wonderful job she has done. --Amy
As an average hyper masculine male, I never imagined getting a facial before. I thought that only women got facials but “wow”, was I wrong! I am very glad my friend talked me into getting a facial at “All About You” in Lee Summit. It was an incredibly relaxing experience and it even got rid of the dark circles under my eyes. I am sold! I will definitely be coming back again for another facial. I highly recommended “All About You” to all my family and friends and take my lead it even works for the regular rugged dudes out there. --Chuck
